Article 1 – Prices

Prices are in Euros. VAT is always included.
The prices indicated only include the services strictly mentioned in the reservation.
To the price mentioned in the reservation will be added, when invoiced, the additional services provided by
the hotelier during the stay and, if applicable, the tourist tax.
The prices applicable are those in force on the day of booking. Hoteliers are free to vary their price at any time
moment. Also, the price displayed during a visit to the website LE CANTER is valid only for orders taken
for the duration of its display. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.
No stay booked before the implementation of a promotional offer will be refunded, even
partial.

Article 2 – Reservations and means of payment

Reservations can be made on: https://www.hotel-lecanter.fr, by phone, by e-mail.
The reservation will only be effective if the latter is guaranteed by the customer, by communicating a card number of
credit with validity date.
The payment of all services will be made directly to the hotel (exceptions made for reservations
prepaid at time of booking).
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in case the credit card number is incorrect or the
incomplete booking.
Reservations regardless of their origin will be payable in €uro only.
The hotel LE CANTER accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard, and has a system of
secure reservations (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation to prevent
any disclosure to a third party.
When registering the reservation, a credit card debit authorization will be made. This will be done as
informative, and will not be a debit from the account except in the following cases:
➔Promotional offer «non cancellable- non refundable».
➔If the validity date of the credit card is earlier than the arrival date.
➔If the arrival date is more than 89 days from the booking date.
The customer is solely responsible for his choice of services and their suitability for his needs, so that the
responsibility of LE CANTER cannot be sought in this respect.

Article 3 – Force majeure

Force majeure refers to any event outside the parties that is both unpredictable and
insurmountable which prevents either the client or the hotelier from insuring all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract.
This is particularly the case in case of strike, insurrection, riot, prohibitions issued by the government authorities or
public.
It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends, for the parties, the performance of their reciprocal obligations and
each party shall bear the costs arising therefrom.
In particular, customers will bear only the additional costs that may be incurred to allow the prosecution
of the trip, following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.

Article 4 – Modification and cancellation of stay

Any modification or cancellation of reservation must be requested by email at contact@hotel-lecanter.fr or
by telephone at 02.41.50.37.88.
The request will not become effective until the hotel Le Canter has confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In case of modification or cancellation of stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure):
➔For any reservation made and paid via the website, no withdrawal period will be accepted and no
refund will not be made;
➔For any request made less than 48 hours from the date of arrival, the amount of the first night you
will be charged;
➔In case of no-show on the expected arrival date, your credit card will be charged the total amount of the stay;
➔Any stay started is fully due.
For reservations made via the website of our partners, the cancellation must be made via this website. Conditions
cancellations that apply are then specific to the partner and can therefore be different from those of the hotel LE CANTER.
In case of extension of stay, the customer must ask the hotel reception at 10:00 at the latest on the day of departure
planned, in order to know the availabilities.

Article 5 – The hotel and the services

The child breakfast rate applies to children up to 10 years included.
For safety and hygiene reasons, our animal friends are not allowed in the establishment.
Rooms are available from 15:00 and must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure. A supplement
may be charged in case of non-compliance with the maximum departure time. In case of arrival after 21:00, the reception must
be warned.
The guest accepts and undertakes to use the room as a good father. Also any behavior contrary to the good
conduct and public order will cause the hotelier to ask the guest to leave the establishment without any compensation and or
without any refund if a payment has already been made.

Article 6 – Dislodgement

In case of unavailability of the hotel LE CANTER or in case of force majeure, the latter reserves the possibility to make
host the guest in whole or in part in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier who cannot be sought in payment of a any additional compensation.

Article 7 – Complaints

Any complaint must be addressed to Hôtel LE CANTER by registered letter A/R, within 15 days the departure of the stay being the subject of the said complaint. After this period, no complaint can be taken into account.

Article 8 – Information Technology and Freedom

In application of Law 78-17, known as computer and freedoms, customers are warned that their reservation is subject to a
computerized nominative processing. Users have a right of access and rectification of the data entered, which
is at the head office: hotel LE CANTER – 1 place de la Sénatorerie- 49400 SAINT HILAIRE SAINT FLORENT. It is
specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
The hotel LE CANTER offers wifi internet access. The user customer undertakes that the computer resources put
at its disposal is in no way used for the purposes of reproduction, representation, provision or
communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright, by a related right such as texts,
images photographs, audiovisual music, software and video games, without the permission of the right holders
provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code where such authorisation is required.
The LE CANTER establishment has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building as well as
parking lot.

Article 9 – Responsibilities

The hotel declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, damage to the effects belonging to the guests during their stay.
The customer will be held responsible for any damage, damage, vandalism that may occur because of the occupation of the premises and/or the fact of the participants and/or the personnel for which he is responsible, both movable property, decoration and real estate belonging or not to the hotel.
Therefore, the hotel LE CANTER can ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any
refund of the current stay, and refund for damages caused by these acts.

Article 10 – Applicable law

These General Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. The same applies to substantive rules such as for formal rules. Disputes will fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
